We are a new dog grooming option in the San Antonio, Texas area. We are a faith-based, family-owned company seeking to provide quality services to all dog owners. We provide additional discounts for Active Duty, Veterans, First Responders and Teachers.

Douglas Drewniak Biography
After graduating high school, Drew enlisted in the United States Air Force where he would spend the next nine years of his life proudly serving (4 years active duty and 5 years in the Air National Guard) in the United States Military. Shortly after graduating from college, Drew began his career in law enforcement.
Drew held roles as a Police Officer in Washington D.C., a Border Patrol Agent in California and Arizona, and a US Customs Special Agent which would later become Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in Nevada, Virginia and Texas. Throughout his law enforcement career, Drew had numerous opportunities to work with various service K-9s, from Belgian Malinois, to Labrador Retrievers and GSDs, to name a few. Drew worked for over 26 years with state and local law enforcement officers and EMS personnel throughout his career which included 9 years assigned to the HSI Washington DC SWAT Team. These experiences only continued to solidify his belief that all dogs, large and small, service dogs, therapy dogs or family companions truly were a gift from God to mankind.
Upon retiring, Drew embarked on an opportunity to become an instructor at an advanced law enforcement academy for the US Navy located on Lackland JBSA. For the next 4 ½ years, Drew provided tutelage and insight for US Navy Masters at Arms personnel based on curriculum provided by the US Navy as well as his experiences during his own law enforcement career. During this time, Drew had the opportunity to work with many K-9 handlers for the US Navy as well as the K-9 Academy which is also located on Lackland JBSA here in San Antonio, Texas.
Finally, upon departing the US Navy MA Academy, Drew began to research his own dream of becoming a professional dog groomer for the local San Antonio, TX community. With his background in the US Military, as well as law enforcement, Drew began to place the pieces together which would ultimately become, “Wig-Wagz”, an idea he created approximately 7 years prior. Drew could think of no more noble occupation than to care for God’s creations for mankind, and to offer significant benefits for our US Military, Law Enforcement, Fire Department, EMS and Professional Educators, hence our slogan, “Serving Those Who Serve Us!”

Deseree Drewniak Biography
Deseree Drewniak, (or “Desi” as she prefers to be called) is a native of New Mexico and has called southern Texas home for the past fifteen years. Desi fondly remembers growing up on family-owned cattle ranches of northern New Mexico while working on horseback and with various breeds of herding dogs.
Since relocating to the San Antonio area, Desi has held several different roles such as Real Estate Agent, Small Business Owner and Administrator at a local charter school west of San Antonio, TX. During these roles, Desi managed the online presence for each of these lines of business, including social media accounts. Most recently, Desi has entered a new line of business in the medical field as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. Having a “Servant’s Heart” has aided Desi well in this new profession as she has excelled during her training and new career.
Most importantly, Desi has a heart for family. Aside from her own family, she is the grand daughter of a US Navy World War II Veteran, the daughter of a US Army Vietnam Veteran, the sister of a US Army Veteran and the wife of a US Air Force Veteran. Desi maintains both a love of our US Military Members as well as family. Understanding what dogs mean to families has struck a chord with Desi as she has owned numerous guardian dogs (Great Pyrenees) while she lived in the hill country area of Texas and most recently, she has become a mother to a miniature Schnauzer and an Alaskan Malamute.
Finally, even though Desi maintains a full-time work schedule in her new career, she completely supports Drew in this new endeavor and has offered to be the Wig-Wagz social media Director. Since both Desi and Drew share the Wig-Wagz mobile cell phone number, if you happen to hear a very sweet female answer the phone, rest assured, you are speaking with Desi.

This package includes our most basic services of wash, and blow dry with the scent of your choice.

THE SMOKE-EATER
“Been Through the Fire?”
If your Pup has a thick coat which has extra needs, this service is for you! This package offers everything from The Drill Instructor plus our most complete shed prevention techniques of brush, blow and shed prevention treatments.

THE UNDERCOVER DETECTIVE
“All the Bells and Whistles!”
This package includes our most enhanced options with all the services of The Drill Instructor, The Smoke-Eater and additional services of paw pad treatments, coat treatments and teeth treatments. If your pup is “Super Spectacular” in your life, this package is for you!

THE SLED DOG
“My Tires Are RUFF!!!”
Has your furry hero been, “Pushing a Sled” for a number of miles and the tires are in need of TLC? This add-on treatment will bring your Patrol-Pup’s feet back to show-room new! This service includes nail trimming (our salon does not use nail clippers for your Patrol-Pup’s safety, rather, a professional nail grinder), paw trimming and professional paw pad ointment for protection and grip.
Rates:
This is an add-on rate of $20, regardless of breed or size

• Although deployments to the Wig-Wagz location is desired, extraction ( Pick-Up ) and reunion ( Drop-Off ) operations are available for additional fees (Please call Wig-Wagz for more details).
• Wig-Wagz employees know you entrust your family member to us for services provided, although, should it jeopardize maintaining good bearing, Wig-Wagz retains the right to respectfully deny services.
